About Us
Academic excellence in a unique, educational setting
The A-level College of Altea is a school which only focuses on the education of students over the age of 16 by offering the internationally recognised A-level qualifications in order to prepare students for University applications. This provides a unique learning and social setting as students move away from the hand-holding nature of secondary schools to a more mature, grown up environment which will prepare students for life at university.
ALCA is a school created by teachers who have the sole objective of putting EDUCATION FIRST. Our experienced and motivated team know what it takes to maximise student potential and unlock access to the world best universities.
Our Aims
Our aim at The A-Level College of Altea (ALCA), is to offer our students a comprehensive learning environment, filled with academic support and educational services. Our teachers will go the extra mile to give our students the tools needed to grow and succeed. We will do this by:
1. Having a maximum class size of 10 students
2. Giving students more timetabled time with their teachers than any school in the area
3. Having qualified, experienced and native English speaking teachers
4. Ensuring that each student receives a personalised approach to learning
5. Preparing the students for the University application process
At ALCA, we believe that our dedicated Sixth form site offers a different type of experience for our students. We want to combine a fun social setting with the space to work independently.

Our Teachers
Happy teachers = Happy Students
We are a college created by teachers! We have worked in many of the schools in the area and know how to make teachers happy. Happy teachers strive to do the best for their students and do not look to leave their school midway through the year or midway through the course, creating uncertainty for students and parents. We do this by:
1. Paying the highest salary in the area to our teachers
2. Giving bonuses to our teachers
3. Creating a working environment that teachers want to be part of
